Ms Announces Windows Bug Resources Program and Extension of Hyper-V Bounty Program
Microsoft Security Response Center Staff (MSRC) announced today that they may be launching a new targeted Windows Bug Resources program (aptly named the “Windows Bounty Program”), in the hopes of finding vulnerabilities before they can reach the black market. The addition of a Windows Bug Bounty program provides part of a comprehensive effort by Microsoft company to improve their responsiveness and defences against security vulnerabilities.
This new Glass windows Bug Bounty program is going a long way towards helping identify and spot vulnerabilities in Microsoft’s products, with a give attention to remote code setup, privilege escalation, and natural design flaws.
While users will be limited in their ability to send patches for the issues found in the Glass windows bug bounty program as Windows is closed source (which can bring natural security issues), just getting the bug reports themselves will benefit Microsoft substantially with bettering the security of their products, as Microsoft company will be able to make use of the reports to research and patch the issues themselves once they are notified of the issues’ existence.the latest information about Microsoft’s bug bounty programs can be found at https://aka.ms/BugBounty.
